I was sick one class this semester, and when I returned the next day, imagine my horror when we were presented with a quiz--luckily, a formative one. Nonetheless, I had never learned the material on the quiz, and the next day I was greeted with the lowest grade I had ever gotten. I felt like I could die from shame right then and there. But I didn't let the gut-wrenching feeling of a poor grade impede my learning; when we were put into pairs to learn how to solve the problems, I asked my classmate many questions, and even asked for her to do some of them step by step. I took notes next to my quiz, intent on learning the material and catching up to the rest of the class. By the end of the lesson, I was confident that I could perform better next time. From this incident, I've learned that when facing failure, we should believe in ourselves and our ability to learn from our mistakes, and put in the effort to do so!
2/22! 0.09% is probably around a Z- letter-grade.
